What an exhausting week!\u00a0 The school load was immense this week, with five chapters to read (and I\u2019m a slow and deliberate reader when it comes to reading college texts).\u00a0 I may have put in somewhere between 60 and 70 hours this week, and I was \u201cin class\u201d all seven days this week.\u00a0 I\u2019m intentionally taking Tuesday off starting week 4 to give myself a mental break.\u00a0 It sure doesn’t feel like a three unit class — it seems like a full time job!\u00a0 My wife says that this is so only because I’m a hard worker who puts in a lot of extra time to make things perfect.\u00a0 She may be right — I don’t see most of my other peers doing the same, but I also assume that they have jobs and are stressed simply trying to keep up with the workload.\u00a0 Meanwhile, I’m only taking a sub job or two per week, and maybe a couple hours of chip work.\u00a0 I’m lucky to be able to take the time off.<\/p>\n
I heard from Jeffrey.\u00a0 He made it to his new base at Sheppard in Texas.\u00a0 So far, he is the only guy to be single in his room (at the end of the hall where he likes it), even though the dorm room is meant to house three.\u00a0 He hopes this lasts \u2013 he likes having his own space.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
