For the week, I wound up working two days as a substitute \u201cfloater.\u201d\u00a0 It was not exciting, but I did see how the first week of school worked, I got some money and I got to see some of my kids from last year.\u00a0 Seeing the kids again was the best part.\u00a0 Towards the end of the week, I got another chip job as well.\u00a0 It\u2019s not going to take me long to complete (in fact, I may already be done), but it\u2019s something.\u00a0 Every day, I\u2019ve been searching the job sites twice a day.\u00a0 No new jobs have come in, but I\u2019ll keep searching.\u00a0 I have also started searching college sites.\u00a0 Next week, I\u2019ll update all my information for the California Community Colleges registry and see where that gets me.\u00a0 I\u2019m still hopeful that I can land a job in my home city.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
