No class!<\/p>\n<p>Still, I wound up doing homework all day and knocked-out two of the three assignments that are due next week.\u00a0 I don\u2019t know how I\u2019m going to get homework done once I start substituting or student teaching (I\u2019ll probably have to do all my homework on Friday &amp; Saturday).\u00a0 Right now, I have 2 \u2013 4 hours of homework a day, six days a week.\u00a0 I guess that\u2019s the downside of taking concentrated classes.<\/p>\n<p>Our Filipino students mentioned that they have rarely ever had steak, since there are no cows in the Philippines.\u00a0 We decided to take them out to Outback.\u00a0 The meal was nice, and they liked their steak very much, though they did not thank us for taking them out to this moderately expensive place \u2013 actually, I don\u2019t think they\u2019ve thanked us for anything this whole week.\u00a0 Maybe it\u2019s a cultural thing.\u00a0 We had to rush dinner a bit because we had to get everyone to church for the corn maze event tonight.\u00a0 For the first time this week, it was cold out!\u00a0 The kids got through the maze with no difficulties.\u00a0 When we got home, the rest of the evening was spent packing \u2013 our kids leave for San Francisco at 7AM tomorrow morning.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Friday \u2013 Yeah!
