School\u2019s back for me: six weeks of Monday through Thursday classes followed by six weeks of Tuesday\/Thursday classes and then I\u2019m done!\u00a0 My last three classes are the introductory classes that I should have taken at the beginning of my first semester here (I joined NHU after the first six week module in the fall, so I missed these classes).\u00a0 These classes are now ridiculously simple for me and I find that I really don\u2019t want to attend.\u00a0 They\u2019re sort of a waste of time for me now.\u00a0 My teachers know this too so I\u2019ve sort of become a T.A. for them and they\u2019re cutting me a lot of slack.<\/p>\n
My bronchitis continues.\u00a0 It\u2019s very hard to shake.\u00a0 All week I\u2019ve been coughing, especially in the evenings when I have classes.\u00a0 As a result, I decided to take it easy on my substitute schedule.\u00a0 I only worked on Monday and Friday in classes that I knew to be excellent.\u00a0 After Monday\u2019s sub job had totally wiped me out, I was going to take the rest of the week off, but my favorite Art teacher at the High School called me personally and asked if I could fill-in.\u00a0 A request like that is hard to turn down.\u00a0 We watched \u201cLife of Pi\u201d while most of her classes went with her on a field trip.<\/p>\n
Over the weekend, I will try to rest.\u00a0 My wife and daughter are going camping while my son and I stay home for this three day weekend.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
