I sub\u2019d again today, but today\u2019s experience was like the opposite of Tuesday.\u00a0 I had a blast!\u00a0 I taught art.\u00a0 The students were wonderful! \u00a0I also liked how the classroom was set up.\u00a0 The lesson plans were more than adequate as well.\u00a0 The call to sub came in late this morning, so I didn\u2019t know if there would be a lesson plans. \u00a0I quickly made a back-up powerpoint on vanGogh just in case there wasn\u2019t.\u00a0 I didn\u2019t need it though; the teacher had been planning a field trip to SJSU for a while.<\/p>\n
The evening class was long.\u00a0 One of the students in my Tuesday class (the one who had had this teacher before) bailed and moved to the other class; we got Gustavo in return.\u00a0 It was a good pick-up, and I came to realize that I was more \u201ccool\u201d at my table simply because Gustavo and Karin were there.\u00a0 I love the spunk and energy of these two positive future teachers.\u00a0 I would want my kids to have teachers like them!<\/p>\n
During our 30 minute “break,” the teacher gave us an in-class assignment to complete… which would take about 30 minutes.\u00a0 Not cool!\u00a0 I didn’t get a break for four hours!<\/p>\n
At my table now are: Gustavo and Karin, who commute to class from Daly City\/SF and Esperanza and Laura who commute to class from Salinas.\u00a0 I feel so blessed to live so close!\u00a0 Originally, I was a little put off by my 20-30 minute commute.\u00a0 I have nothing to complain about compared to these guys!\u00a0 Each as at least an hour to commute, if not two.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
