I spent all day creating a write-up and powerpoint for a presentation I\u2019ll be doing tonight in class.\u00a0 The subject is \u201cCyber-bullying.\u201d\u00a0 As per usual, I have way too much information; I\u2019ll need to pare it down a bit.\u00a0 This is good because I can then concentrate on the essentials and throw away the rest.\u00a0 In the afternoon when I started rehearsing my presentation, I kept getting 23 minutes\u2026 which is bad.\u00a0 Anything over 20 minutes is a major deduction.\u00a0 Just before going to school, I cut two slides that are good information, but not essential.\u00a0 I was \u201cguessing\u201d that I had been speaking on these two slides for around four minutes.\u00a0 When I did the presentation in the evening, I did it in 18 minutes.\u00a0 Yeah!\u00a0 I think that I hit 18 minutes largely due to speaking fast, which might get me docked a bit on the presentation score.\u00a0 I\u2019ve done better, but hey, I got through the evening, and I had more than one person come up to me after class and tell me that they enjoyed the presentation very much and that it was information they could use.\u00a0 Yeah again! \u2013 mission accomplished; I hope I get a good grade (I got a perfect score on the write-up \u2013 a good start!\u00a0 I\u2019ll have to wait until Monday for the presentation score.).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
